After seeing my counselor whom I'm forced to see due to my irresponsible decisions in the past always puts me in a baw mood. I was sitting there tuning her out, thinking "blah blah blah, remind me of who I was why don't you? I was doing fine on my own before you came along, now I every time I see you just want to go back to the way things were..." Walked out feeling a bit melancholy as usual, frigid winds blowing my hair about. I looked up and felt the warmth of the sunshine on my face and I thought to myself about how far I'd come... I used to be all or nothing - never to meet anything or anyone halfway. I used to question my abilities and give up before even attempting a task, deeming it to be impossible for me. I let hatred and animosity rule my heart, and I pushed everyone around me away. I used to let defeat grind me down to desperation. So in my weakened state I eventually gave in to the addictions and it wasn't long before I found myself in jail. And so, I looked out again at the city layed out before me. I see the people struggling, I see people who step on others and just don't care about anyone but themselves, but I also see the selfless people, who never stop helping those in need. I see the average person, just trying to cut their own path and not be bothering by the troubles of the city, friends laughing and all the other good people out there. As the snow slowly melts and gives way to buds on the trees and the grass on the ground. All the while surrounded by the lifeless glass and concrete. I can't help be overcome by the sheer beauty of the world we live in, and how lucky I really am to be alive today. I'm not the person I was in days and months passed anymore. I am willing - to do whatever it takes. I am able, nothing can stand in my path, nothing can slow me down. I am kind, lending assistance to whoever I can in any way I can. I am strong, when I get knocked down I pick myself up and dust myself off, and while I may not be completely free of substance, I now have the willpower to abstain from actions that will harm me and those around me, and to never return to the way things were.  If you're wondering why I've made this post, well first of all it was a random(ish) thought and secondly I know we all have problems, and I just wanted to say that if your willing things will get better! Sorry for being all friggen emotional and stuff... |

Random Fact: I hate it when my employer runs for local elections, I then become his entire campaign staff. So many names and addresses typed in today, and that's only the beginning of it all... Posters, canvass cards, adverts... I WAS ASKED TO MAKE HIM A POSTER LIKE OBAMA'S HOPE POSTER! Thankfully he took my look of "Seriously, dude, What. The. f***? STAPH!"
Random Thought: I wonder what my eyeball tastes like...

RF: Randomly smacked in the damn face with a migraine yesterday.. omg. I have some kind of fluey virus which seemily comes with Tension headaches, Sinus headaches AND a goddamn migraine... why the actual f*** would such a virus want someone to suffer so badly for the first few days of it? D: Today I still have a headache but it's better! RF: I have constant migraines though like haven't been migraine free since before 2010, it's just a part of my DID.. the more I dissociate, the worse the pain gets.. but omg, this f***ing virus? Made it 10 times worse, I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN SUCH PAIN. omg. I have a fairly high pain threshold, I mean for f***s sake I go through migraines daily that leaves other people in bed for a week.. but as soon as a virus comes along? nope, my body shuts the f*** down.  RT: the fuq, 100 pack of panadol is $5 for generic brand, but the actual name brand cost $20+ for goddamn 24 tablets?? WHAT. LOGIC. IS. THIS.  |

Generic does the same as brand name. Think of it as buying the same type of t-shirt but paying a bit more for a logo of the maker.

RF: I'm a master procrastinator. If I start projects too early, I tend to over analyze them and the quality actually dips. I will make a list/outline of information needed and then work on it later. But that's me.

RF: Got up at 3AM this morning so hungover, and then I remembered that the whole stupid city is trying to convict me of things I didn't do because the cops screwed up big time yet again, which was why I got drunk in this first place. So now once this BS is all over and dealt with, for better or worse, I am going the f*** back to Cuba! Then I won't have to pay so much for awesome cigars! o3o |

It's hard to say if religion and stupidity are related to each other; there are too many other factors at play that can influence people. You just can't say that religious people are stupid, or that stupid people are religious. You can find numerous examples of the two appearing in the same person but you can't assume all people are like that. Sometimes it has nothing to do with intelligence or beliefs and some people just haven't been exposed to certain topics yet (I frequently find myself in this boat). It's important to keep these things in mind when talking about people.
Are there really stupid people in the world? Yes. Are there really religious people in the world? Yes. Are there people who are both stupid and religious? Guaranteed. Just remember that there are also people who just don't know things yet because it's impossible to know everything, even with access to the store of knowledge known as the Internet. Not knowing something isn't a crime.
