I have to wait till work is over myself. Did the install this morning, fair quick for an 8GB installation so it was. Now hurry up 5:30 so I can get a taxi home. Hope whoever else has their copy is enjoying it and looking forward to seeing ye all on the online portion when it becomes active.

That's if anyone here is actually getting the game lol, this is quite possibly the biggest game of this generation and yet no one else on here seems to be interested, not a good sign.
I have played 4-5 hours so far and it's brilliant, the map is immense, I spent the first two hours just driving around the city doing missions and despite representing only a third of the map it's so dense and neverending. I also went exploring in the country. I hiked up the tallest peak and went mountain biking to my death on the way down, I went for a joy ride through a golf course, drove up a mountain, got blow up by a tank at a military base, gunned down civilians on the sidewalk and ran people over in a quadbike. Can't wait to play more tomorrow !

im just a bit pissed how they block off gta online for the 1st week.
Also I had no intentions of buying/playing this game. however my room mate bought it. so ive been playing it. about to do the 1st heist

I have never liked the GTA series. Never.
But after watching a review on this all I wanna do is play it. But I can't. Because I promised myself Beyond: Two Souls would be the last game I bought on PS3 before the New Generation.

It's all about the Benjamins.
I kinda like that they are holding off on the online. Could mean that they are waiting to see how many they can expect to go online with a better estimate of their system requirements nessecary to handle the load, and gets everyone to enjoy the story mode a bit instead of jumping straight online hoping to get ahead.

I'm only 4% done, but wow, amazing job! I'm impressed at the graphics on the PS3, very close to the PC ones in the footage I've seen. Very different from GTA4.

This game is freaking amazing, improves on every single thing that I disliked with 4. Everything is so freaking tight, responsive and satisfying.
And the story, though not as good as niko's tale is freaking hilarious and awesome. 10/10 for me.

Except they are removing player choice. forcing players to play 1 mode for quite a bit. I like to jump into MP to take a break from the campaign without actually stopping playing the game. but now I can't do that. I have to wait. (its why I wasn't planning on playing the game for a while....but free is free) |

My house mate bought it on his xbox so I we can switch between rampages.
I find these games are better to play with friends anyway.

Judging by the problems they are currently having with the iPhone Apps and the social club I'm kinda glad they have the extra time to make sure things are good for the online. I can understand where you are coming from nobody, but I'd kinda prefer it to work than be broke and kinda work when it comes to online.
