My wife's Uncle was a "confirmed bachelor" and lived with his "roomie" for over 30 years. He came out to my wife years back and some of the younger generation in the family. The screwed up thing is when he died, his partner had to get us to sign legal paperwork to let him have the house and other assets he would have been entitled to had they been married. My wife has seen many gay couples have problems visiting their very sick partners in the hospital, because the "family" members who hate gays can deny visitation.

So because the universe hates me I woke up at three in the morning after five or so hours of sleep and didn't fall back asleep. I got up at six so I could eat breakfast and get ready to go. I left the house at 625 to make it to the bus, then took the Skytrain and then the next bus up to the campus. The info session I need to be at was at 830 and I arrived at 735 (the commute is infamous for being 1.5-2 hours). I went to the session for the two hours, ate some lunch, took some pictures, explored a bit before making the commute back and arriving back home at one in the afternoon. Being tired might not have been so bad if I had known that washing my shoes (they're washable) would make the back of them dig into the back of my heels.
Yeah... I'm not having a good day.

Knowing I hate getting up in the morning and what I need I did a lot of stuff the night before so I could just get dressed, eat and go. So yeah. 25 min.
After I saw that pick I have a story about a bear and a highway, but it's going to wait until after I have a nap. That's the plan anyway. Having a nap. I'd like it to actually happen.

I normally wake up as soon as Six leaves for work, which is around 5:30.  But this morning I got to sleep in until 7:30. If Xy hadn't of yelled out for me, I'd still be snoozing right now. And to those it applies..  |

enjoyed my 4th just playing BL2 and trying to level characters. Tried out the new DLC didn't take long to beat it other than the final boss is a pain in the a$$.

I too enjoyed my 4th. We had burgers, Southern Comfort, fireworks and sex. In that order!  Buggy was sooo cute. I was afraid she would coward out but she totally enjoyed herself. Couldn't get her to hold a sparkler though.  Going to have to work on that because by next year I want her playing with Roman Candles. |
