Supposed to only reach 84 tomorrow according to weather channel but weather underground and the news both say 90 again with a heat index around 104. I can't even go to the gym. U don't care that it's air conditioned. The walk from the car to the gym is crappy.

I just found out the European version of the last of us's multiplayer is censored... Is it weird that I'm ticked by this ?

It seems weird they would censor it, did they censor the single player ?

No, the single player is uncut. Apparently their reasoning is that they were to lazy to make a separate copy for Germany to appease their censorship laws so they just made two versions, EU/AUS version and the US version...

Right ? I'm kinda ticked about it. And want an explanation from ND... You should be wanting an explanation from the censors. In order to censor the game ND had to make a different copy that was ok by the government overlords, probably the first ones to review and censor. If they had to make a different copy for every government entity that had any power to censor it could get too expensive to make the game. In the US we have 50 states that could censor the game and probably some of the smaller countys would want to do it too. My point is I don't think it is up to governments to change video games nor should ND have to make many versions of the same game to satisfy them. Your anger should be at your government for censoring the games, do they censor other art ?

But it's Germany's fault, they are the reason for this censoring, it didn't go through any other existing governments it just went through Germany. I've never seen a game being censored in Norway, this whole thing is just ridiculous.

I don't understand why the single player isn't censored and the multiplayer is. The single player is graphically more violent then the multiplayer

I've never seen a game being censored in Norway, this whole thing is just ridiculous. I get your point but how many different copies should Sony have to make ? I think they (Sony) consider the European Union as one market with other countries like Norway thrown into the mix. Germany is the largest market in Europe so they cater to them. I've hated region locked movies and hacked my DVD player to make it region free. If it is any consolation the PS4 will be region free so you can use whatever games you can get your hands on. I get it tho I would be ticked off too, I hate censorship.

I'm not saying they should have made more copies of the same game, just send the uncensored ones to the country's where its mandatory and then give the rest of the world the uncensored one. It would've cost as much as the way the did it.

It would've cost as much as the way the did it. It looks like Sony has every European country in its Sony Europe gaming division, so in order to do that they would have to create new PSN logins for all the non German PSN subscribers for DLC and revisons. Sounds like a nightmare to me. I can't imagine Sony making exceptions in its European market because they have to satisfy the largest country in that market with a revised game. I would not rally against ND as much as the distributors AKA Sony but give it a shot. I don't blame the companies I blame censorship.

You know it's really hard to stay mad at this when your bringing the logic. I still find it irritating that we get a gimped version of the game's multiplayer :/
