Well my boy is feeling a little better. However, I'm working all weekend. Wouldn't be so bad except the storms last night kicked all of my machines off and no work form yesterday got done. Already a day behind. At least today may be shorter than tomorrow.

Double post FTW! No song tonight my Nation peeps. Maybe just a mini rant.. So here goes. Know what I love? Huh? A blown out knee for the second time. Ten years ago I managed to blow out my left knee doing something very simple. Looking under my sister's car because she had a leak of sorts. Since then, it really hasn't felt right. Always felt like it was on the verge of happening again.. About a month ago, I noticed it "flaring" back up again.. Welp.. Tonight this s.o.b has decided to blow out again. And I love it. Yes I do.. I mean.. I have to work and run around with my 2 1/2 year old.. No biggie. Plus the pain is outrageous.. Yes! It's awesome. I'd jump for joy.. If I could. Thanks body, for always breaking down on me and for making life that much harder. You ROCK! Put that bad boy up. Seriously..... rest it a bit, put on some ice. Wrap it (not too tight) or get an elastic "brace" from the drugstore to support it. Take a couple of Ibruprofen every few hours. You can take up to 4 every 4 hours for a day or two no problem. Remember "HI-RICE" - Hydration, Ibuprofen, Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. What does it look like is it bruised looking or swollen ? If you tell your kiddo you have an hurt knee and need to rest it she will understand. Put on some mindless cartoons, and give her some junk food. She wont die . Take the dam day off from work if the pain is really bad and go to the doctor, if it happened at work you should be covered by workmans comp and they should pay the bills.

Take the dam day off from work if the pain is really bad and go to the doctor, if it happened at work you should be covered by workmans comp and they should pay the bills. On our way home from my work shift this morning, Six ran in Walgreens and got me an Ace bandage .. That was surprisingly almost 30 bucks. Then we got home and I took some Ibuprofen and wrapped it up and lay down for a few hours. When I got up, I put some ice on it. So.. I'm taking the proper steps to heal it. Unfortunately I have to go back to work. I can't afford to stay out. So I will slack on my cleaning duties tonight and sit down as often as possible. As far as Buggy goes, Six and his kids are taking great care for her, as they always do, so I haven't had to do a lot of standing. No worries. I tough.

I found a 15 year anniversary limited edition reserve pint from my favorite brewery. I cant wait to try it tomorrow with my dad , its become almost a every sunday routine to just go over relax and have a few I wish I could do that. My Dad died when he was 62, I was halfway across the country running my business and raising my family. For the last year of his life I talked to him every Wednesday at 7:00 Pm on the phone and I was able to visit him a few times in Florida. We got really close during that period. I still miss him like hell.

Oh RRwatch.. I'm sorry. Isn't it strange how that feeling of missing someone never really goes away? I know how you feel.. My dad died when he was just 51. And while we all knew, including himself, that his days were numbered, it still some how managed to blow us away. I literally walked around all day saying, "I can't believe this has happened..". I wish I could have a ten minute conversation with him, at the very least. Nine minutes would be spent hugging him.

You guys make me feel like crap. I haven't willingly spoken to my father in several years. That said he spent several years not willingly talking to me either. I call that time "childhood".
Kidding aside its good to see people recognizing when they have good family. Some people do and they just take it for granted. Fall unappreciative. They just dont see what they have.
This topic has gotten waaay to for serious like. So here is a video of monkeys getting drunk

My father died rather young as well. He was 64 when he passed in 2004, and I was only 15 at the time. I honestly wish I had a closer relationship with him like some of my friends do with their fathers. It was sudden and we were all shocked, but it just happens I guess. I wish I could sit down and have a beer with my old man, but I just never got a chance to do so.

Since this page is already sad, I'm going to add my 2 cents as well.
It's never easy, whether you know it will happen or not, whether your young or old. My father passed away in '91 when I was 11, he was 45. For 3 years prior he was hospitalized. I have many memories of visiting him there, which was almost daily. It was tough, but I do have some really found memories from before the time, and even some during. I would love to have him back, but at the same time, it has shaped my life, made me who I am, has caused me to make the choices I have, and in the end I'm a better man, father, husband, and human for it. He's still with me, every day, and that's good enough for me.
Now, back to randomness... A history lesson...
... and yes, they really are drunk.
