Well, hopefully these posts and any future posts won't go to Never-to-be-seen-again-ville because I don't like getting messages telling me to delete stuff. :/

Hopefully nothing yet. We had to nuke the 18+ thread. I'd prefer not have to go cherry-picking posts through here so I'm hoping that PB won't notice. It just seemed that the trail of posts was going places we can't go, so this was just a reminder is all. I don't know what to expect anymore so I just play the cautious card.

My weekend was pretty good. And I didn't have to kill anyone at work so that was a plus. ^ The art of self control. .. It works.. Sometimes. Today Xylie has her first official play date and though the thought of having some "alone" time with Six is exciting, I know that time will be spent wondering how she's doing. My baby..

But she calls him "Little Nate Nate" ( Being that's we call Six's son, Nathan..) and he calls her Zoey. So cute!

I don't understand play dates. Are they good for the kids?

I believe so Liam. I really do. Every kid needs to interact with those of their own age. Helps with their social skills..
We plan on letting her do daycare a few hours out of the week in the winter. Just so that she get's use to kids her own age. She is always around me and Six.. And then his kids ages 9 and 11 and while that's great and it too benefits her, I believe she needs to interact with "little people" as well.
I just hope she doesn't freak out a bit because she's always with me and Six.. Like... always. 24/7
I may be playing the over worried Ma, but I can't help it. She's my BABY!

Conor is around kids his own age a good few times so I don't have to worry about him not getting sociable. I meant in terms of "structured play" rather than socialising.

"structured play" .. Don't know what it's supposed to mean but it sounds boring as hell. No.. I just mean that I want her to experience the adventures of another 2year old. She benefits tons being around older people, but she needs to be able to relate to her peers. We are considering putting her in daycare come winter too. Just so that she has that experience she can't get from us.

your name change confused me lmao I wish they would give you guys some sort of guide line to what they consider 18+ :/ How was every ones weekend ? I think I posted PB's ToS in the Things to Know board. Just follow those as best you can. I signed up to recert my lifeguarding certification a while back but have been fairly sick these past two weeks. The receipt from the city said I could withdraw from the course within 72 hours of it starting and pay a $5 fee to change days. I called up the company who ran the course and they said I couldn't withdraw this late. (For those of you who remember my super long post at MyRes 3.0 in RC it's the same company. If not, I think I'm still the only one to have typed "chlorine" on the site so you can search for the post that way.) So I went to the recert having had no swimming practice in about two weeks because of being ill and then proceeeded to give it my best shot. 50 yard head-up sprint in 55s 400 yard in 9min 10s (did it in 10 40) "The brick" in 40s (didn't quite make it) Rescue DNS and submerged victims Several spine board sims I didn't get the recert and everything from the neck down hurts. My weekend sucked.

Sort of like "Now it's time to play." *Wait 30 minutes* "Stop playing now and go sit down." I'm strange like that.
