Same here liam, I have to wait til sometime late in January or early febuary. Finally (for real this time) getting a gaming pc of my own in december and I can't wait.

Not fussed with getting a PC, I just want something that lets me play games, not all this whole "Upgrade this to make your game look prettier cause we are the master race and have mods and stuff and you suck for you're restrictive console way of life you peasant." Course that's the select few asshole fanboys that ruin it for everyone else like everything else.

I'm old, I'm a console generation, I'm stuck in my ways and I like consoles and controllers and don't like mouse and keyboard style and don't want to get get a controller for a PC that uses Macros. I like my expensive machine and expensive collection of disc games. I just wanna put the disc in and play the product. I don't wanna download. I don't wanna upgrade. Just play.
Also any time a PC Gamer is all "With your expensive restrictive console and expensive games, silly console peasant we get them cheaper on PC." it makes me laugh that people would be all "You're poor and buy expensive stuff. I buy my games cheap on steam and upgrades only cost $100 to make it run like a PS4." It looks funny to me that they use cheapness to look down on others and call them peasants.

Well for me the fact that the PS4 has no backwards compatibility sucks. The PS3 lost that feature and I was bummed about it then and I'm bummed that it's not on the PS4. I realize it's to keep costs down but I still want to play old games, you know? I have a stack of PS2 games I can't play because our fat PS3 died and we don't have a PS2 or anything else that can play those games.
I spend majority (like, 95%) of my time PC gaming theses days, I can play games 10+ years old on almost any PC I make, and when there are drivers and controllers made to support PC games, it kind of makes me wonder why I'd bother with a console. Mostly for exclusives. I do plan on getting a PS4 at some point but it's a low-priority purchase for me right now. At this point exclusives are the only reason I'd get a console and until there are lots out there I'm just going to wait.

Its all about the big screen, huge ass speakers, wall shaking subwoofers and a nice reclining chair or couch for me. I can get that from my console but not my PC where I am using a dinky as 26 inch screen and sitting upright. I started gaming with a computer and I've never enjoyed it as much as with a console designed strictly for gaming. I'm not a mouse and key type guy as my range of motion is a bit limited and controllers work better for me.

Oh, I have all that too. We've had five speakers, three amplifiers, a pre-amplifier and all the other bits and bobs for as long as I can remember so I'm used to that too. I love it, but the other four people in the house don't want the house shaking because I like driving tanks so much.  |

I get that Azira. Whoever designed the HVAC in my house put the ducts where they filter right up to the master bedroom so late at night gaming is not done on any amplification. I do use a headset half the time for the reasons you talked about.

I was looking at the reviews at the game , and so far a lot of people think its terrible. I really hope froza 4 comes out for pc some time. It looks like an amazing racing game but im not going to get a xbox one just for that .

 Just fooling around and such!  That's a remnant from the Dualshock 1 days, where if a game supported the analog, you could hit that button and use the sticks instead of the D Pad. |
