If I try LoL, how many will try Dota 2?

I won't speak for anyone else but I'll offer this up , for every game of league you play with the clan , I will play one on dota with the clan .
how does that sound ?

I don't think there are any Axis clan members playing Dota 2, unless I'm mistaken. I'm installing LoL now. Not sure how long it's going to take. I probably should have looked at the requirements for it first...

I think you may be right , fourm members would be better.
If you can run dota 2 you should be able to run league with out any problems

I've heard from numerous sources that Dota is more difficult to play than LoL. Maybe if you tired Dota it would help you with LoL? It may help if it's more difficult, but it may not. But as Jaded said you could always join us on League. You're more than welcome to, the more the merrier :] But I suppose if you're willing to try League, I'd be willing to try DOTA. I still need to make a Steam account though.

I know that. I've just been lazy when it comes to actually downloading, installing and making an account for Steam lol. I used to have one back when I played Counter Strike Source, but I don't remember the login name and password.
I did do the link thing for Portal 2 on PS3 for that however, does that mean I already have an account?

It will mean when you install Steam you use the PSN option to set up your Steam account. I've never done that since I had separate accounts and linked them when I played Portal 2 on the PSN.

There's a Dota 2 thread with guides you could do that in.

Shoot me a friend request Az, in case you missed it my name there is KnightOfDurahan. I'll probably sign on in a bit if you'd like to play together.
*EDIT*
A friend of mine went from Dota 2 over to League and found League a bit similar, and somewhat easier. Maybe the same will hold true for you.

I picked Ashe because she looks like Drow Ranger. I've played the training against bots. Went 6/0/2. 1) Is there any way I can move the camera around, or is it forever fixed on your Summoner? 2) Are there any others ways to get items other than TPing back to your base? 3) (If I correctly read that there are more maps) Are they all this small? >.> I sent a friend invite to you Streety.

Having played both, and many moba's. I would say that Dota and Lol aren't harder/easier then the other one. They are just different. Trying not to be biased, but I'm really not partial to one or the other. Certain features I like more in one versus the other. I love couriers, and a lot of the champs in DotA, but I hate the layout of the Dota in game item shop. Both are good, both are fun if you ask me I find the biggest learning curve is in the "sight", I find it a lot easier to track my champ in LoL, I loose sight of my champ in Dota... I guess because they are "smaller".

While unlocked you can move around with the mouse, and press Space Bar to return it to your champ. It won't re lock the camera to your champ (only pressing Y again will do that) , but it will center the camera around them. You can also left click on the mini map and hold the button down to view an area. While doing so you can move the camera around, and releasing the left click will return the camera to your champion if the camera is locked. 2: Unfortunately no, you have to return to base to shop. However if you die, you can shop while waiting to respawn. 3: There are other maps to play on. The one we played was Summoner's Rift, the largest of the maps. Twisted Treeline is a 3v3 map and is smaller. Howling Abyss is the ARAM (All Random All Middle for those who don't know) and that one is pretty much a rather large bridge. I've never played Dominion so I don't know what that map is like. I do plan on being online later in case anyone would like to play some more.

I wasn't paying attention to that the one time I died... 5) Can you "buyback" (spending some of your gold to respawn immediately)? 6) How do the turrets do damage? I thought Rhyn0x said that turrets do more damage with each successive hit to the same target, or maybe I misunderstood.
