Not much is known so far, but Atlus has finally announced the rough release date of Persona 5 for PS3 as Winter 2014. Unsure if that's just the Japanese release date, meaning other places would likely get it later.
The announcement came after a large build up of hype and a little trolling (from the audience's viewpoint) during Atlus' stream late last night. A number of Persona related games were announced with 5 coming in at the end.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labryinth (3DS) Trailer: link
Appears to be a Chibi version of the P3 and P4 casts taking on shadows in a clocktower or some such.
Persona 4 Dancing All Night (Ps Vita): link
It's a dance rhythm game. The trailer is worth watching just for how silly the announcer sounds.
