So the level cap is going to be raised to 72 "soonish". That was the announcement at PAXAus along with more DLC (not included in season pass 1), and digistruct challenges, also "soonish". While I dread the idea of having to re-obtain good gear once more I AM excited for these new meta-game digistruct challenges. Randy Pitchford mentioned that players would be able to set their own challenges and rare loot would be a possible reward for them. This reminds me of contracts in Black Ops' online mode, but with more tangible rewards.
Remind me, didn't GBX increase drop rates once the second level cap was released for BL1? I feel like legendary gear doesn't vary as much as it did in BL1. If it varied more AND dropped more often people could get a greater sense of satisfaction in choosing gear. Half the fun of this game is picking what you like to fit your playstyle, not just what other people say is awesome *ahem*Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold*ahem*.

So I downloaded this and tried it today and remembered why I'm playing it on the PC: My first ever sniper rifle clip got lodged in enemy heads. I can do ze headshots with a mouse!
The only DLC I have are the Mechromancer and Psycho class add-ons so I'm open to partying up with other PC players.

So I'm trying to rescue Roland and can't seem to make a dent in W4R-D3N. I'm the same level as the enemies although my guns might not be big enough to deal with it, but how tough is he supposed to be? I feel like every time I try to see how much damage I can do I do hardly anything and then I have 10 robots running around trying to kill me.

A big thank you to Rx, Silver, and Bunglin for dropping into my game and playing Santa Claus in addition to just helping to steamroll through the spots giving me trouble. Between the new fully automatic corrosive shotgun and the slag Lyuda I can more than manage to get by. Can't thank you all enough for the amount of farming you saved me. Been a long while since I looked into his skill tree, and I couldn't help but notice the little whirlwind of destruction that is the melee Zero build. Planning to try out that Immolate build as soon as I can get the right relic, which shouldn't take long now that I can effectively farm the loot midgets once again. Anyone who wants to do some raid boss fighting just let me know. I can't host any of them yet on UVHM, but I'll gladly go along for the ride. You're welcome 8) Glad to be able to help!

If I can return the favor, then let me know. Probably a difference in gear. It's a pretty brutal fight no matter your level or difficulty. Anything corrosive coupled with something electric to take down its shields first will really help. And make sure you're hitting it in the eye. What class are you? Some will have more difficult times than others. I've seen some tear through bosses like they're nothing while my poor little Siren has to hide and ping at them.

What playthrough are you on? You could hunt God-liaths for purple and blue gear. That should be enough to get you through the fight.
EDIT: Anybody up for a BL2 party? I'm going on now if anyone wants to join.

I could be on in about an hour. Finishing up some stuff on a Server. I can join one of your games since all my missions are done on UVH Any requests for Santa?

I used a Shift Code, got some new guns from the loot chest and proceeded to not completely suck the next time I went there. I managed to kill it and rescue Roland.
I'm currently playing as Zero, which doesn't really help in this situation other than I can give my shield a chance to recharge after I've used Deception when I've bitten off more than I can chew.

He's 15 now, but he was 13 when I tried to rescue Roland the first time. I abandoned the mission to do some side quests to level up and again I used a shift code to get some better gear.

Ahhh, so you're on the first play through. Well, I could reach out and acquire some Legendaries in your level range. But, at these lower levels, you rank up fast so they'd get obsolete quickly.

Yeah, I am outgrowing my stuff on a regular basis and end up having to do side quests to level up and look for better guns. I'm just going to have to keep grinding away until I find the really nice stuff.
I'm not sure you could give me anything anyway if you're on PS3 IIRC since I'm on the PC. Thanks for the offer though.

If you plan on playing this to the endgame with more than one character I'd recommend saving your keys for levels 50-60, as these are the levels where gear will really determine your ability to progress.

My sister bought the game and the DLC disk on PS3. Between her and my brother the PS3 spends a lot of tied up playing BL2. I play it on the PC because it was $10 on Steam and I wanted to be able to snipe (since I can't really snipe with a controller).
I am enjoying BL2 more than BL so far, so I might pick up the level-cap increase packs when they're on sale. I'm not sure yet.
