I'm going to say " Not ".
My reasoning is this.. Although we truly don't know what goes on behind closed doors and we shouldn't believe what we read and only half of what we see, I believe there is reason enough to believe she is portraying a side that isn't really herself.
She is soooooo desperate to break out of the " Hanna Montana " cutesy little girl of Bill Ray that she is now completely something different .. Swinging the pendulum so far the opposite direction that she doesn't even know who her true self is anymore.
That's not very pretty, let alone " Hot".
Hopefully she will grow up and this will leave her but until then, she is no different than all the other young Hollywood stars that go completely way off track and have yet to recover.

My kid didn't go thru anything at 19 like losing her shit, I didn't go thru anything like losing my shit at 19 either. I hate her music and think of ALL the REALLY talented people out there who don't have huge record companies and PR factories behind them. They and the world suffer because a no talent is sold as talented. Is this really good music ?? Listen to someone like Adele's voice and then Miley see any difference ? BTW Adele just turned 24. I don't care that Miley smokes as much weed as Snoop, but I mourn what the America's musical tastes have come to and who they think of as celebrities. Its not just Miley I think many so called celebrities are talent less ho's Kim Kardashian and family, Miley, Paris Hilton, Teen Moms, et al. But getting back to Miley.. I just don't like her music and found her tv show annoying. After that I have no idea of the girl. Didn't even know she was losing her shit or not. I don't even pay attention to them outside of any shows or movies they might pop up in. I just simply don't care. Heard she was in two and a half men, which I got bored of before she came in on it.
Mostly though I don't see the fascination of the celebrity. I don't understand why the Kardashians are famous or peoples fascination with those Jersey Shore shows and imitators. I don't don't know why people defend the celebrities or themselves for liking them when I say I don't like them. I can't like them cause I don't know them. Right now my favourite show on Tv is Game of Thrones, and I love the character Tyrion Lannister and hate Joffrey. However outside of the show I don't pay attention to them. Only difference is I feel sorry for the kid who plays Joffrey, one of the most hated characters on tv internationally at the moment, cause he lives in Dublin, a city with quite a few asshats that wouldn't hesitate to go up and spit on him or slap him simply cause the character he plays is disliked. To me that is just a testament to his skills.
I don't feel I am being judgmental in my comments for simply saying that Miley Cyrus annoys me. Cause she does. I don't like her music and I don't like any characters I have seen her play. Whatever she does outside her life I really don't care. I don't find her all that attractive either. Just not my type.

Hottie or Nottie ". And because she is in fact in the spotlight ( which is her decision ) and chooses to do some of the things she does, she gets judged.. Or some would call it "Observed ". It's not offensive to call someone out on their bullshit. In fact, this might help her. And as a girl who was once 19, I didn't go through "this phase". And if I did or was currently going through it, I would have to accept that what I did may be viewed as "loosing my shit". If you crave the attention of being in a spot light you have to understand too that consequences comes with it. It's just the way it works. Those who aren't and act the way some of these chicks act get that too, only a smaller audience. For example- My niece Raeven.. She will be 16 in a few days.. Hands down the best girl I know. That doesn't come from an Aunt who adores her, that's just a fact. The day she starts acting the fool, like she doesn't have any home training and her actions are reflecting a girl who is attention seeking and not being her true self, she will get a mouth full from me. Because I love her and want her to best the best "her" as she goes through this life. Have fun. Experience what life has to offer but do it with dignity. I see so many of these young Hollywood girls just go ape shit when they reach a certain age. Acting like they don't have any sense. Having more DUI's then most grown ups and when they get "judged" or has to serve time, as they should, we hear " Ahhh *sniff sniff* I was a child actor, *boo woo* poor me.. This is why I do it.. WHAAAAAA". They either feel the world owes them something OR they feel their screen life should allow them to get away with more then the "average Joe". .. Sometimes and in a lot of cases, both. Wake up Youngins.. If you do shit and in front of a million cameras, expect to be "judged" because you seem to be perfectly okay with putting your own shit on blast and crying when people form an opinion of you. And btw- We as a society did not put her on a pedestal. She put herself there. |
