I'm a bit worried about her. She seems to be doing a Britney Spears. The new 'sexy' image looks desperate, rather degrading, and ultimately somewhat self defeating.

I'll be honest, I do feel bad for her. She has 0 guidance by the look of things. Sure she has her PR crew and a bunch of people who are paid to make an image for her, but if she had real guidance, then I don't doubt for a second that she'd be a better person. Not all Disney stars have to go bad.  When she was with Disney, she had a contract that dictated what she had to be. It even outlined that she had to have her hair cut a certain way. Now that the contract is over, she has no shackles and can do things the way she wants to. Sure, she needs some morals but if anyone was basically a slave to a corporation that strict and your father for 5 years, I doubt a lot of people who have more than enough money to spare would hold back on new tastes/discovering what you like. It's like reaching the legal age to drink. When some people hit it, they go a little off the deep end. It's a shame that a corporation like Disney reaches that benchmark of money, realises that the actor is getting too old, and then pretty much set them free into a world the actors only hear about on the news.  With that said, she's turned into a bit of a yucky person. Wouldn't touch her with a 10 foot pole. Miley, baby, if you reading this, get some class about you.  My cousin used to watch your show and now she hates you. She's 10. |

Meh. I really don't care.
She can walk around with her gross ass tongue hanging out. She can grind as many guys as she wants on stage. She can pose nude for porn director if she feels the need.
That's her. Not me and it's sure as hell not my daughter.
I guess she's entitled to live her life as she sees fit.
And I don't care if this is a downward spiral. Or if she or anyone else blames her childhood for her actions. Anyone could use that as an excuse.
I had a shitty childhood and the mistakes I have made, I take full responsibility for.
However, as little as I care, I have to place positive role models in my daughter's life. And clearly, she isn't one of them. So No... Miley will not be on our t.v.
Nor her music. Not even her clothing line.
Miley is just another manufactured product of the industry AND the consumers who buy into it.
Hopefully she will one day give a flip at the image she is promoting. Especially if and when she becomes a parent.
