*noms*I'm with Sixer. We do need to let the dust settle a bit. Give everyone time to get used to the new digs (and us all time to get everything up and running). If we are in a position (and of a desire) to move after that, it's not like we're stuck here. It'll be work for the admin/mod teams, sure, but we're always happy to do what we're able to, and the biggest pain for the average user will be the horrible 10 second ordeal of registering again. Perhaps even followed by--*gasp*-- replacing the bookmark. *dun dun DUNNN*

I wasn't implying that we just up in leave , regardless if we stay or what not i was just offering a hand. I do share the same concerns about the unclear rules we have been issued but hopefully something will get sorted out , but i do like the look of the new fourms and it does have a lot of new functions and features that come in handy and it is a lot friendlier on my mobile phone for browsing purposes. Monkey...one does not simply replace a book mark!

I don't see any need go paying for a new forum ATM Let the dust settle first feel the place out! Get our user base back up. Lets not get into (the grass is greener over there syndrome) coz youl never be happy. This was exactly my point. When dealing with groups of people, there will always be something someone isnt happy with. The perfect foum is a Moby Dick. ( Do with that what you will Liam ). Even if we were to host a site and all our rules etc, there would still be SOME issue by somebody. One of the biggest things Ive learned in all my time doing this is: All I can think of is the musician Moby naked saying he's ready...

Since I know there are people here who don't visit OGOB: ourgamesourbond.com/forum/index.php?topic=6135.0I will say the possibility is being explored because at a first glance it appears to be something both sites are interested in. I realize that some people here may not know what OGOB is, so if you don't know feel free to ask.

Another possible move so soon after this one, hhhmmmmm not to sure how that will go down but we will see. One side would have to give up all of their history, maybe neither will be prepared to do that?? Starting a completly new forum would be a fair way of handling it. Mods/admins could be a mixture from both sites but limit numbers as there would be more mods/admins tha active members . I dunno, where are the Nation peeps!!!! We need input on this. Thoughts............................

Okay .. well here we go. Not sure if this is the proper thread to discuss this or not but since it's already rolling, I'll most definitely place my input. I have concerns. As Porky just said, we just made a move. Convincing people to move *yet* again could be challenging. So the end result would have to be more than worth it. Discussions on both sides seem a little like jumping the gun being as we haven't got the officially word from JB. You guys know me, I hate merge/change/blah,blah,blah,boo-who, but if it will better enhance our community PLUS bring two families together, I'm down like four flat tiers. But I would prefer we meet on a clean slate. We don't move there, they don't move here. We just start fresh. Both sides. " He said that one day the canyon split. Half the squirrels were on the north rim......and the other half on the south. Over time, the two families became different. Each one adjusted to their environment. The ones to the north are dark, bushy-tailed, and have bigger ears. The ones to the south are leaner, meaner and much prettier. Even though they look different and they act different... ...they are the exact same squirrel. They just grew up on different sides. "

Guys there is nothing to really discuss just yet. Until/ unless I get to talk to JB...nothing is going to go forward. But yes, the idea is out there. Im not going to do anything to compromise us or them. Lets just wait and see what happens for now.
