Yeah, that was a longshot at best for that error. Still, it has worked in the past for others. If something gives you trouble it's the first thing you should do, imho.

Fallout 3 GOTY took a little to get working, had to change some of the coding and activate the dlc from within the game in order for me to get the experience I paid for . Still, I am 2 hours in and loving it as expected, although I won't be playing it as much as Infamous 2 which I just bought for my PS3 .

Dishonoured was $10.20 on the first day of the sale. I got Surgeon Simulator for $3.40-something. I'm happy I didn't spend more on it because it's so frustrating. >.> I was hoping to get Reus for a good deal, but it seems it didn't get enough votes to get 50% off. Oh well, I guess I didn't miss it then. no, 1st day it was up for community vote, but borderlands won that. Don't really matter though, as it is up today and I snagged it. Major sale going on from now to the 22nd. Personally I am really hoping to get dishonored. right now it is 40% off down to 17.99 I was really hoping it would of won the community choice vote earlier today but borderlands 2 won that. hopefully there will be another chance for it anyways Is there an advantage to the PC version over PS3 or Xbox ? For me it is the mouse. Precision aiming. It is the 1st time I ever really felt the lack of precision in a controller. It just isnt precise enough, fast enough to allow you to control a room of guards the same way you can with a mouse. It is far from necessary, and has more to do with high level play than anything else.

Reus works fine on the other computer. It's okay if you like keeping track of a lot of different things at once. Idk. It's cute and not very much money.

You don't have to wait for a save to go to another area in the game unlike the consoles that say so&so is saving cant go.

Huh. I thought sure you'd go straight for this one. Will soon be diving into the black pit that is the list of Fallout mods. Wish me luck. Probably just stick to some of the basics. Added housing, Perk Every Level instead of ever other. That sort of thing.

who says i cant have both?
though those dishonored powers in skyrim seem so broken. those rats tore them apart (hard to say for sure how good cuz of level differences) windblast is a continuous use fus ro dah tied to your magic.

Potential compatibility issues, that's who.
Actually, most of them don't seem too different from Skyrim's existing shouts. Pretty sure there was already one to slow time, etc. Blink will be awesome though.

tropical replaces textures and such. dishonored adds powers. i see no reason why they would conflict.
and yea most of those powers do already exist. there is even something like blink. there is the one that is a short sprint. blink does give you height that it doesnt though.

They *shouldn't* conflict, but I'm given to understand that you never can tell with mods.
Ah, yes. Good old Wolf Nuggets. One of my favorite shouts.

cuz it won the sale over dishonored They *shouldn't* conflict, but I'm given to understand that you never can tell with mods. Ah, yes. Good old Wolf Nuggets. One of my favorite shouts. actually it is very logical what will conflict. most mods change certain aspects of the game. the assumption is that they are changing the base game. when 2 different mods try to change the same thing then thats what creates a conflict. for example I installed an overall texture pack that redid just about every texture in the game with nice HD textures. then I installed a water mod to make the water look better. they both change the water, but I had to make the water mod overwrite the other one because I figured a mod specifically focused on water was going to give better water than an overall texture mod would. often times when you run into more issues is with mods that change a broad variety of things. like the tropical skyrim mod, which changes just about every texture in the game. changes enemies into jungle variants and such. so it conflicts with any texture based mod, and anything effecting the enemies. but mods that add content, instead of altering them, such as the dishonored mod wont conflict, because they are not both trying to change the same things. also this is all the mods i have installed though I also have hi res map (even adds roads to the map) and alternate start installed that arent visible.

Still nothing else I really want at the sale, I am saving up for other stuff and i really don't play PC games enough to warrant more purchases. I am perfectly happy to have gotten both the fallout games as I originally intended to.

Yeah, I think I've bought enough for me to last until Christmas time.
Half-Life Complete Surgeon Simulator System Shock 2 Borderlands 2 (later with Mechromancer and Psycho class DLC) Reus Bioshock and Bioshock 2 Terraria 4-pack Lego Lord of the Rings Just Cause (just cause it was $0.27) (x2) The Bard's Tale (x2) Dyad Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition (Happy Late Fathers Day/Happy Anniversary Dad)
Except for Far Cry, I got everything between 60%-80% off. I think I bought too much. :x
