I have been keeping my eye on this game for awhile it reminds me a lot of amnesia where there will most likely be some puzzles and the only way to survive is to hide from your enemies and try to figure out a way around them. Most the time you have to use your camera to see whats going on (and it can run out of batteries so there is always a constant worry ) . It looks to be really intense and pretty scary, i know i will be getting it but i doubt if i will be able to play much of it lol

It will be available on steam sept 4th and on ps4 mid winter

I could have sworn that I made a thread for this game already, must have been on the old boards. Anyway, the game is available on steam right now and has been getting some nice reviews with the atmosphere, scares, graphics and sound being singled out in particular. Outlast will be free for PS+ members on PS4 (i.e everyone who wants to play online) when it launches on the system next year so if you are getting a PS4 and can wait until then there is no point buying this game. However as I mentioned before, the reception's been fantastic and it seems to be a worthwhile purchase for horror fans with a decent pc, well-priced too. Below is the IGN review, metascore is 83 atm with an even higher user rating.
