Here is the new thread for all of our discussions for the games single and multiplayer aspects.
I'll repost the last thing we said from the old thread and continue on from there.

As I do not own a PS3, I have had to watch PewdiePie's gameplay of the game and I love it. Great storyline, characters and scenery and it was a perfect performance of what it'd be like of an apocalyptic world. In other words, I found it awesome and want a PS3 to play it myself.

It's well worth getting. MP is great fun too, challenging. I'm hoping you didn't watch the whole game on a play through...

Ok, so from what Ive gathered (just a speculation from what Ive seen nothing more) the clan thing doesnt stop, when you get about six clan "thrives" you get an X and not the two lines. Once you fill the four corners of the X with Clan dots your X changes into a pettern conaisting of four lines put horizontally and slanted. Typically when you get there you're a at level 97 to 100+ And then it turns into something else I havent seen or heard about. Either then or at the pattern type symbol is tha last of what is basically a prestige/Legacy without the level and unlockable reset. How the clan system is effected effected at the last "Prestige" I have no Idea.
This is just my thoughts on the level system which I've found to be extremely confusing since there are no weekky or monthly rewards to the person with thee largest clan at that time.
It makes me wonder if Naughty Dog has something planned for the future or if this whole clan system was an aftern thought when they found out the whole medal system in Uncharted didnt fit with the whole theme of the muliplayer.
And we'll continue from there

I like having "invisible" AI or I would have shot them long ago.... On a side note did anyone recognize W. Earl Brown AKA Dan Dority from the tv show Deadwood as soon as Bill turned up ?

Never watched Deadwood to be honest, but everyone of the characters in this game had a sort of familiarity to them until I went to the IMDB site and spent most of my time going "Oh, wait... thats not right. Who?... I think I know this chick, oh.. nope I dont."

Quick question... If you finish Hard+ mode does it unlock the trophies for Normal+ and Easy+ as well?

@wolfcub: Yes it does, if it doesn't at first, play through the last section again I believe is the fix.
@jaded: scavenge, scavenge. Look around everywhere for supplies. Always keep 1-2 medkits and 1-2 molotovs. Craft shivs over nailbombs and modded melee weapons, as the shivs in turn get your more supplies. Never use shivs to kill enemies, except on two occasions (these are my opinion, so you don't ahve to, but its what I found easiest). The section of the outskirts where you, ellie and Tess are going through the clicker spot, use a shiv on the one at the end. And the last one is when you're going through the tunnels in Salt Lake, there's a clicker on a side railing that stops you from going further, shiv that one and you can stealth over the truck and away from the mass infected mob. The only real challenging part I found, was the part where you're getting out of the sewers with henry and have to fight off that infected swarm. I just kept trying and eventually got it. Also, if you're unhappy with how you handled a spot, restart the checkpoint and try again, I saved a lot of ammo and stuff doing that.
Have fun on survivor!

I got some tips for you on "survivors" multiplayer mode if you're talking about that..
1. Before you even think about engaging the enemy start the match by hitting as many supply boxes as you can, then CRAFT! CRAAAFFTT!
2. If you're on the dam, start the match by hitting the first supply box near the spawn then I think there is one more in the vicinity of where you're going to be heading. After you've done that take the path way toward the middle of the dam. Then take a left and down the stairs the walk the walkway that's on the side of the actual dam. Sneak walk and upright walk while occasionally entering in listening mode, in my experiance in the supply raid there are usually two to three people who are completely oblivious because you don't show up on the minimap, also they will be expecting some on to be in the middle because of that starting sprint you're gonna take towards the walkway. This works 70% of the time, I've even taken out a whole spawn with this method, I think I'm the only one who does this.
3. Always have a one hit down weapon with you, you want to the one controlling the engagement.
This is pretty standard advice but its nice to keep in mind.

The dam can be a pretty great if your team is willing to hold down the dam area with you. You have the advantage of being able to snipe down into the valley and there are plenty of walkways to hide nail bombs to avoid flanking. While we're on the subject, does anyone have a favorite or least favorite map??

Yeah, I couldn't help myself honestly, I just started watching his video's and I've never heard a youtuber be that freaking self obsessed with himself. It pissed me off... twice! I knew I shouldn't have watched him after when he broke his uncharted 3 disc. Least favorite map is downtown and Bills town, just because they make you think you can snipe in these maps but nope! Every vantage point is covered by some kind of transportation vehicle.

BrokenGamezHD is a youtuber that spends most of his time stroking his face in the mirror thinking he's the best player in the world.
