We'll just have to bring a Dingo along next time to pick up the slack.

You did very well Cobalt, no noobishness about your performance. There can be a few surprise hits in the survivals from characters that don't show up on the maps, I've been killed very quickly in them some times. The assassination mission was fun. I was getting reefed out of it too by enemies. And when we stole the chopper I got blacklisted by Merry Weather. Buncha a pansys all huffy about their chopper.
Favorite thing to happen this weekend, doing the assassination mission with Cobalt while we had the chopper. Sent him a message while hovering over the house, "Jump?" he fires back "Do I have a Parachute?" My first thought was "Jump and find out?" then I figured I'd tell him that he should have one for getting in the chopper. Either way that was about to be proven. He did. The conversation seemed funny to me.
I got into a mission where someone was just Team Killing me cause he couldn't get into my personal car. I stood there and took it till he left. The guy that was helping him and laughing about it was all "Okay we won't kill you now oLiam0." So I decided to help them with the mission. Killed so many and kept the team alive they were sending me friend requests. I sent a message back saying I don't add douchebag players who team kill or gang up on other gamers. They then spent the rest of the time in free mode trying to kill me. I was killing them every time they came for me. Eventually they left me alone and avoided me so I left them alone and avoided them.
Also I apparently hold a world record in a race. I have no idea what race... Think I was using compact cars.

Congrats. I'll look for your name when I do some racing. I'll never understand what people see in griefing. I mean, messing around with your friends is one thing, but randomly killing passersby (while arguably in line with GTA philosophy)is just a jerk thing to do. Manged to play some with MarlbMan last night. Actually got invited to that same assassination mission first up, and this time there were three of us, with the other two in the level 25 area. Made the difference. I mostly hung back and picked the guys off of the roof, got one or two when I ran in, but ultimately walked around a corner too fast and died. Was fun spectating in hood ornament mode while they finished up running from the cops though. What do you mean "Blacklisted by Merryweather"? Did they put a bounty on you or something?

No, they just won't deliver me helicopters or ammo if I request it for a while. It was my first time using them.

You will soon enough. I got it early enough. Never really found it necessary for me to ring them. Until I remembered they rang me and said that the "air taxi/lift" is now available to me.

Don't ask for a lift if there are morons flying in the area as the chopper is very slow moving and easy target for griefers.
If you need help with stuff just ask and me will come and try to be useful.
Oh Martins missions give out massive amount of money once you do a few.

I killed the pilot and took the chopper for myself while me and Cobalt were on a mission. Trevors missions so far are paying out decently as well.

So, I find myself slowly turning to the dark side... After picking up the two newly weds at the motel near Trevor's place, the game told me about some Altruist cult in the mountains. Two thousand dollars for a quick drop off later and I'm thinking it could be a nice earner with one of the local L.S. cabs, having heard that you can pick up fares in them... Anyone else tried this? Does it stay at $2000 each time?

It's a $1,000 per person I think.
I'll try it out with Trevor later see if it does let you attempt it. Wonder if they will open up Vigilante type missions and firetruck missions and ambulance missions like they do for Taxi down the road.

I've yet to buy the cab company, though I will at some point. Brilliant idea with the Alturists, but I don't think it'll work. Pretty sure it's only designed for specific instances like that couple. Still, you never know. That is its own little storyline, btw. You can only take so many. And there are many you don't want to take. One guy who can become a golf opponent (Hard difficulty) for you, another person you can rescue from some people that gives a large cash payout later, etc. There's just no way to know what return, if any, each hitchhiker can have ahead of time. I too took the couple to the camp, so I can't say if I missed anything with them.

Well, I started the experiment this morning by shooting a cab driver in the nuts and stashing his car in my garage.. I will see tonight if you get a decent amount of moneys for random peeps. On that subject, do you have to/can you respray the cab to keep using it without the cops chasing you? Or does the heat die off anyway?

Heat dies off, think the whole "Stolen Vehicle have cops chase you when spotted" thing in mostly with Online.
Didn't get on last night sadly. Didn't get to play anything.

Played some last night. Went to Vinewood hoping to improve my personal car, and the cops took exception to that. Spent quite a while chasing me, and I didn't even find a very good car.(Hoping to find one of those Adders I can use in races. Are there some cars you just have to buy?) I managed a small calm spot and was about to make a break for it again when another player lands a helicopter near me. I hop in and we take off. I send him a message thanking him for the timely rescue as we fly off toward the military base. He attempts to land inside and we are immediately shot to death. lol My mission becomes clear. Get in the base. That guy leaves the session, and I spend a long time running around the outside of the base, get in a race there a that gives me back my car, and attempt to rush the gates. Only they don't open like they do in single player. I have an immediate 4 star wanted level. I manage to dodge them for quite some time before deciding to try rushing the other gate. This time my car explodes even though I hadn't taken that much damage. So, I respawn nearby again, and inside a few moments someone else spawns next to me. I wait around a bit until he moves and start following him. Seems he wants inside the base too. On the way there I notice a rise in the land. I run for a car a long ways down the road and then pick him up. After a couple false starts we're up and over the fence. And back at a 4 star. I drive like mad, keeping out of reach of their trucks and choppers. Tried hiding in a hanger, but it seems that as long as you're on base you're still committing a crime, so the wanted level doesn't decrease. Back to the running. Eventually a jet spawns, and my partner in crime hops out to snag it. No dice. The heat's on him too fast, and it explodes. RIP, buddy. The case is back on for a while until I see another jet sitting on the runway. The soldiers are all fairly far away from me, so I decide to risk it. Only, there's a soldier in this jet. In fact, it appears to be in "flight", just hovering above the surface. If must be glitching, but if it can turn and shoot me I'll be toast. And begin to turn it did. So, I took the only option left to me. I attempt to highjack it. Up I go, onto it and opening the cockpit. I'm a bit stunned. Is this actually going to work, stealing a jet that's technically in flight? No. No it isn't. I start to go into the "tossing the victim from the vehicle" animation and it drops me through the jet instead. But it does seem to have some effect.. The jet is now partially unstuck and swinging toward me. I take off running a little ways, expecting to be shot in the back at any second, but as it turns the wing clips the ground. Boom. Amazingly enough, the beaten and battered station wagon I'd been driving around survives the blast, though the whole right side isn't looking too good. The trucks are catching up now. I jump in thinking that the thing will probably blow up with the next bullet, but not having any other options. Another couple of minutes around the base, and I can see another jet spawn, this time an unoccupied one. It's now or never. I open up some space between me and the heat, but start hearing explosions. I assume they've finally called in tanks, but don't see them anywhere. No matter. I make it to the jet and begin hopping in. Out of nowhere, another jet flies in and shoots mine with rockets. It was another player, not even one I had been anywhere near, let alone knew who it was. Keep alive against a 4 star rating for about 15 minutes or so, but then someone decides to just blow me up for no reason. Or was it for no reason? I haven't seen mention of it, but is this game like RDR where you can become a sort of "most wanted" criminal that everyone else might try to kill?

There are bounties placed on you, but you get notified. If you didn't notice it or receive a text saying a bounty was placed on you, then it more than likely was a person been a person all "Hur easy target!" Premium cars have to be bought, the Adder is a car (It does have a spawn location in SP though) so anytime you get a premium car you own it and it is listed under custom cars in races. Stolen cars don't show up in races.
Edit: Cept Impromptu ones

No notification, so that must've been it. Oh, well. Win some, lose some.
Guess I'll have to save up some money. Should probably look into a garage too. Only managed to save up around 50K at the moment.
Another bit of weirdness yesterday. I was in a Survival match, and we'd made it up to the fifth round. 3 of us were still alive, when we suddenly got the failure message and it ended. Guessing maybe the host quit out or lost connection.

Seriously does anybody else see Nobody as a vigilante super hero? Is it just me? I have a question for you. if my username looked like this noBody would you always revert it to Nobody? or would you (at least some of the time) type it like how it is? my name being nobody instead of Nobody is exactly the same thing. it annoys me just as much as IRL when people spell my last name wrong. which is all the damn time. more on topic to your quote. are you referring to this one instance or in general from my various posts? I see myself more along the lines of super villain then hero. I was just curious what was on the other side, so I checked, then they tried to kill me so I killed them. it was less about protecting innocents, as it was killing people who pissed me off. they died on a whim as opposed to for the greater good.

Key difference: Spelling it noBody wouldn't breed confusion for no reason. You find that amusing, great, but no one else really wants to bother with it. You can accept that people will occasionally refer to you with a normal, capitalized name, or we can go to calling you something else to avoid confusion. IIRC, you don't much care for "Nobs", so we could try something else. Body, Ody, No, something like that, or I can get creative. Your call.
