Further update:

Hey guys! Just wanted to give you another update on the progress of 1.2! Today I worked on the code for net play so you should no longer need to use Hamachi or port forwarding for the PC version of Terraria.

As far as the road map goes I am nearly done with hardmode dungeon ( I have the sprites now just need to add them in), finish up the "other thing", work on the final boss, and tie up any loose ends.

nobody, I don't think it's a matter of underestimating, but not doing to much before the patch, and saving content for the next build. That's my take on it, anyway.

My gpu got damaged in shipping, and I don't have on board video. Plus my psu literally tore itself free from the case.
