Yeah, they're always ready with a replacement. It'd be nice if they could revise their hiring practices though. Maybe institute an IQ test? Question 4: The house is besieged by zombies. What do you do? A: Open the door. B: Don't open the door. C: Jump off of a balcony. D: Swim in the nearest pool of lava. Zombies can't catch you if you're in lava. As of yet, I've had no one choose B.

obviously you open the door, it could be freezing out there you wouldn't want them to catch a cold now would you ?

No, I want them to catch fire. That's why there's a lava trap outside the door, rigged to a switch so I can open it when they show up.

Wait, inferno lava? You mean lava in the lowest level or something? That worked fine too last I checked.

You probably had a fluid settling error. I've done the same thing before and not all the water made it. It was just too much for the engine to handle.

Alright, the following people have the game and are interested in building Nationopolis (in Alphabetical Order): SixCelCobaltMonkeyjadedoblivionnobodyRHYN0XSixHousePullWe will be starting from "scratch" with new characters and a new world. How and when do we want to start? Will we play anytime, no matter if all of us are on, or just 1, or want to have at least 2 of us at once? Will it be a free for all - login, explore, build, or will we plan things out? Personally, I like the plan things out route. Waiting for all of us to be on... well, that will never happen (or rarely). I'm 100% OK with one person working away, if they are on and want to. Now to figure out the logistics... hmmm. I would love to host, but I work odd hours, and have my twins that keep me busy... well, first off, can we host? Need 3rd party software to do so? Can you get remote hosts? I would like to recommend we set up some VOIP as well. I have hosted Ventrilo before, and it's easy to set up and use. Thoughts?

Six and Cel only have a single copy and machine, so they can't both play at once. The only way to have the world accessible to all of us at any time is to host it on a server. Otherwise we could only have the same person host it, and others could only join when they were online and playing. Optimally, I would love to have a server if we can arrange it. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about servers. I know they cost money to run. If needed, would those at the Nation be willing to chip in for a monthly payment, provided it's not too expensive? With Steam no other voice software is needed. You can just start a multiuser voice chat.

Luckily for you, I do know some things about servers! I have run a few my day, usually for FPS's, but all very similar. Anyway, found the below, and so far it looks to be the best. I want to do some "trust worthy" digging, but the price is right! Terraria HostingYou can pay less or more based on people. Nice thing about that option is that it can easily grow with having to pay brackets or huge differences. I would be willing to help pay, especially at 7 bucks a month to start!

Thanks! I've looked over quite a few other hosting sites, and this is the cheapest for hosts that offer Terraria. Still looking in to reviews, etc. Before moving forward. The longer we sign up for, the more of a discount. However; I don't really want to drop 85 bucks (1 year) at the moment. That's 2.5 boxes of diapers. Perhaps we should sign up for 1 month at a time, and see how things go? If it gets popular, then we can change to multi-month payments. Honesty Time! lol - If it all pans out, I have no problem setting it up, etc. However; My wife and I are scrimping as hard as we can, minimzing credit card use, and have even canceled some line of credits. We are pouring every thing we can in to the mortgage, and trying to stay away from any debt. We want to move ASAP, move in to "the family home" - currently in our fist, starter house - we want to be in that house where we raise our kids, grow old together, and watch our grandkids play in someday. That being said, yes I can still contribute, but I would prefer not to use my credit card, even if it is only 9 dollars (US to CDN). Heck I didn't even use it to buy Terraria, I went out and bought a Steam Wallet card. I will if I have to, but I would appreciate someone else use theirs, please... sorry. I can transfer some money to said person via paypal or email bank transfer, what ever is preferred. If no one is able, I will do it, but again on a month to month basis.

Month to month is probably the best idea. I don't have a bank account or any such myself. I can chip in, but I'll need someone to educate me as to how.

so it would be 8 bucks a month ?
Also if we want to stay free as of right now i wouldn't mind having a himachi server set up and i can just leave it up and running well im at work

That might be a better option to start with until we can see how much interest there is. Thoughts?
